تقتصر "مذكرات طالب رائع حقاً" على مذكّرات راولي جيفرسون بل تمتد لتشكل جزءاً كبيراً من "مذكّرات غريغ هيفلي" أيضاً، سيبدأ راولي بسرد سيرة حياة صديقه الحميم غريغ وسيخبرنا عن حياتهما معاً كولدين شقيين عاشا معاً مغامرات مخيفة ومقالب مضحكة، وأشياء عن عائلتيهما؛

"Diary of a Really Wonderful Student" is not limited to Rowley Jefferson's diary but extends to a large part of "Greg Heffley's Diary" as well. Rowley will begin with a biography of his good friend Greg and tell us about their lives together as two naughty kids who went through scary adventures and funny pranks, and things about their families.
